The Dzogchen Foundation was organized in March, 1991 by Lama Surya Das and a small group of Dzogchen Buddhist teachers and practitioners. The Foundation's mission is to preserve the precious teachings of Dzogchen and transmit them to Westerners in an accessible form.

Dragon Flower Ch'an Temple, Inc.: One of the main functions of DFCT is to provide English translations of Buddhist Texts for those who would benefit from them. Most of the translations are from Chinese sources, but a few are from Sanskrit or Pali. A significant collection of these translations make up the Ch'an Men Jih Sung which will eventually be posted in its entirety.
