Oregon Construction Contractors Board (CCB)The Construction Contractors Board (CCB) is a State agency that protects consumers by regulating construction contracting businesses. Oregon law requires that all types of contractors who perform work on residential and nonresidential structures in Oregon be registered with the CCB. The CCB accepts workmanship (and other) complaints against registered contractors, usually responding to these complaints (called "claims") with informal on-site investigation/mediation and, when necessary, more formal adjudication very similar to a court.
